last night's dinner was fantastic. csp went to have dinner at de grandeur restaurant at kallang theatre. the name sounds posh already hor? ahah. it was a buffet and quite like the food. lol. it was a form of celebration for wq birthday. anyway, the food costs 30 bucks and i sure recommend it to anyone.
yesterday was e 1st day when i wore my contact lens. look weird. but that is beside the point. hahah. felt uncomfortable. haiz. but e best part was when i was trying to put in my contact lens. i had 2 futile attempts when i tried to force my right contact lens into my eyes which dropped to the basin. e 3rd time saw my contact lens dropping from my hand to elsewhere again. could not find it in the basin. panic! e floor was searched too but still dun have. panic panic! even my bro, daryl helped me to find oso cant find. then when i went back found out that it was stuck onto the mirror. LOL. HAIZ. and my stupid mum laughed like mad when my bro told her. hahha.
was stunned when clarence told me he was rejected from imperial. my responses was like huh? HUH? OMG!hahaa. as what clarence said dunno what the reason was to reject him lo. haiz. feel so sad by the whole thing in the end even clare himself has to console me. haha. THERE IS NO ELEMENT OF BROKBACK HERRE. clare is juz a very good fren of mine. haha. juz that all along i juz had this mindset that he ll confirm pei me to go to imperial. n all along i juz asked him not to worry cos imperial ll confirm accept him de. in the end, haiz. so now my motivation will be to get 1st class honours in imperial to take revenge for clarence! hahah. my new found goal!

hmm.... yesterday was reallie a memorable day for me man! went down to funan IT mall wif duane cos seth is working at posb there and duane and i din mind changing to the newest atm card. however, din know that i nid to bring my bank book so could not change in the end.
then went wif duane to buy prez for wq at the same place. not very satsified with our buy and i promised duane not to tell anyone why oso... tsk tsk. then went to a nikon shop to query about my camera. cos my memory cards could not be detected by mr camera. then the lady who was very nice solved my problem and turned up that my cards had problems. she directed us to go to the head branch.
so off we went to taka. we went to apple store in wheelock place to check my ipod cos mine cld not activate hard disk. in the end, they had to totally replca another one for me. BUT the problem is i juz spent 40 bucks in wrapping the exterior of my ipod!. haiz.
den we went to the head branch. turned up to be an office. and in the end, was shortchanged when i was given new memory cards. haiz. was too traumatised to even think properly. ahah.
muz thank duane for accompanying me the whole day man! seriously a bad day for me. anyway, went for pk and emma bdae celebration. thank u for e treat. haha. Changing appetite is a nice place to eat in.
shld say the night gathering sort of cooled me down. haha.
juz gotten my contact lens today. finally got no problems le. hahaha.

so long never blog le cos nothing interesting actually happened dunno since how long. ever since clearing, i have been rotting at home or giving tuition. hahah.
went out last friday with my vsbb friends. so long nvr talk to them le. din even realise that chin loon is now in Australia too. haiz. was celebrating jh bdae. to think we still keep in contact since sec4. haha. hope we can continue to keep in touch man!
still got a lot of bdae to celebrate for the next few weeks. luckily, pk and emma celebrating together. haha. n as i was thinking about birthdays, think i have decided to not come back to singapore to celebrate my birthday la. see how first. maybe juz have a farewell lunch or something. hahha.

anyway, must reallie say something about MLM!!! it is a multi-level marketing. and MANY OF MY FRENZ are in there. and they were trying ways n means to rope me in too. BUT i promise to give them a hard time if they keep on pestering me until i cannot tahan anymore and i ll lash out at the unlucky one. hahaa.
i mean there is nothing wrong in it. but the way of the business is that if u get people to do the business, u ll earn commission from these people when they manage to sell their products. THATS Y THEY ARE ROPING IN PEOPLE. BUT the most irritatinf thing is the ways my frenz used to get me to go to their office. let me illustrate:
this guy by the name of W. saw him near my place once (we live near each other) and we started talking, phone numbers exchanged. then he called me a few days to meet up and have dinner. i agreed and he said meet at raffles place. weird place to meet but fine. during dinner, he said he was DOING A PROJECT and wanted me to help him. i agreed too. then he led me to see the office. N THEN I WAS BRAINWASHED BY OTHER PEOPLE THERE. to be in the business. i mean this method is like how despicable can? u want me to do business ask me upfront la. irritating! IT IS NOT EVEN A PROJECT!
n i juz ignored his msg n phone calls ever since.
then another guy called T. he used the same thing asking me out, but i refused to meet up with him and giving him all sorts of excuses. hahaha. he is juz testing my patience. juz one day, i ll lash out at him too. with my 1st statement being, "want me to do business say la dun say go out for luuch pls"
last friday, i saw 3 primary skl classmates in the bus and ALL 3 ARE IN MLM TOO! wtf!~ i thought i was going to die le. haha. luckily only 1 of them was talking to me. but i was so turned off and wasnt reallie listening to what he was saying. but was reallie pissed when he asked me what i was going to do in the future. i told him i was going to be a teacher then he said something like "dun u want to be more successful like doing business or something?" SORRY MY DEFINITION OF SUCCESS GOT LITTLE RELATION WITH THE AMOUNT OF MONEY I EARN. and dun u dare to undermine the profession of teaching.
MLM is reallie getting on my nerves.

IT fair is over. and i am one satisfied customer. cos i am reallie excited about my purchases. finally bought my ipod and digital camera. haha. damn happie. this is the 1st time i spent over 1000 bucks and i still feel shiok. haha. in the end, din want to ask my dad to sponsor. he will have to pay for my other stuff den.
Suntec was FULL of people yesterday. and the best part is the escalators that were leading to suntec were spoilt. so the human traffic was relatively bad. plus squeezing my way through was quite bad. luckily i went to buy the stuff on weekday.
HATE I-TUNES. very ma2 fan2. but what to do? haha. must thank gy for giving me tips to organise my stuff and all.

Results does not only reflect the capabitility of the student. it reflects the level of difficulty of the paper, and also the amount of work the teacher puts in.
felt a tad disappointed when my A level student who was my neighbour told me her maths results. she asked me for help last year and she managed a C. she only passed her papers in her sch exams but i felt that she deserves better.
then my cousin who did PSLE last year, juz could not get her to be motivated. well, she managed to go to Sec 1 which was our goals but still i felt quite bad cos i thought i could have done more.
hmm... being a teacher is never easy. and i m going to be a teacher in the future. sets me thinking. how am i going to make my students to be motivated and inquisitive? feel that a successful teacher is one who can communicate with his students and bring his message across easily. A LEADER IS SOMEONE WHO IS ABLE TO MOTIVATE OTHERS TO WORK TOWARDS A COMMON GOAL. this has always been my definition of a leader. muz work towards it.
recently, felt satisfied and happy cos my cousin got highest in class for her science. that is the feeling that i should aim to have in the future. the sense of satisfaction and accomplishment.
u all muz be thinking why on earth did i pen this down. well, i got nothing to do recently other than to read up some maths and i have been thinking about a lot of things. so ya. hahaa.

totally beat today. had tuition in the morning then went to the Victorian's day. wanted to see the teachers in VS but they were all not there. haiz. wanted to talk to miss lau, miss ernie, mr phua and mrs lee de. and to ask for vacancies to relief teach. in the end juz wrote my name and left for vj le.
reallie appreciate harminder for organising today's event. but den hor, nothing reallie exciting happened oso. haha. managed to grab some teachers to talk. and me, zh n his galfren, von and weilin we juz practically rot and did nth. BUT the mass dance is cool! forgotten some steps le but i still enjoyed it. hahaha.
after that, went to rayner's birthday party. thank you rayner for the party. reallie like it and hope u like our prez hor. dun believe that we bought the exquisite mahjong set for him. VERY NICE! haha.
anyway,
HAPY 21ST BDAE RAYNER! hope that u ll remain cheerful and be yourself. but dun be so ditsy la. haha. hope that we ll still keep in contact after we ord. ORD LO! hahhaa.

before i start me entry proper let me 1st voice out that i am not accusing of anyone or any organisation or anything but juz my thoughts.
1stly, i have to congratulate all the 7 students who aced the A level examinations. and being a 'year 5' from VJ this year, i must congratulate VJ for producing 2 top students.
however, i was surprised to read the article on The Straits Times where they were complimenting these students. what was surprising was that 3 of them had their snap shots taken and featured on the papers. BUT, the 3 happened to be from RJ and Hwa Chong Institution. the other 4 who came from VJ and ACJC din get to show their faces on the papers.
yes, i may be making a mountain out of a molehill but isnt it too coincidental that RJ and HC happens to be from the top 2 jcs in Singapore?
it seems to me that a lot of emphasis is placed on them. should this be the case? i m not being biased here because i am a Victorian but i feel double standards should not take place here.
i must emphasize that this is just my opinion. no harm or any form of insult is intended. :)

Back from Bintan! but no, i was not eliminated from the Star Idol and no, we din get to see the Star Idols since they are in a different resort i think.
thank to Safra where we get the lobang from, we managed to stay in a villa. like i mentioned, it is majiam lke we stay in landed property but for only 3 days. haha. and we have a buggy to transport us around. all of us have a chance to drive the buggy around. so cool! well, all of us are yearning to have our cars so this is juz a gd small car for us. hahha.
the things there are all very ex since they are targeting the tourists who come to Singapore to play who then take the ferry to Bintan. luckily, we brought some food there to cook. thank u duane cos he was our mom and cooked for us! hahah.
I WATCHED BROKBACK MOUNTAIN LE! hhahaha. and I M NOT 21 YET so screw those people who categorise this show as an R21 show. finally know what this show all about. hmm... think that the show is quite nice but i think i have higher expectations after reading the reviews and so felt like it could be better. but then again, we werre playing mahjong at the same time. so the atmosphere created is not there. hahhaahaha.
watched big momma house and pink panther too. quitte funnie. muz give it to pink panther man! being a fan of lameness, felt that pink panther is TOO LAME and cold for me le. aaahhha.
aniwae, won mahjong again for 2 consecutive nights! muahahah. not a lot like duane who said i won 50 bucks. pls lor! hahha. my skills are gd man! hee.
the beach there is reallie nice. reallie enjoyed the sea and the sun. maybe because of the monsoon, the waves are reallie strong. went kayaking. felt tired but shiok.riding against the waves was fun. and the waves swept and capsized seth and rayner's kayak, and seth dropped his specs. the funnie thing was duane and gy went to them and asked them what happened. the next moment saw the exact same thing and duane dropped his specs too. so cock! hahah. den 6 men were combing the area to look for the missing specs. the waves kept sweeping me back to shore and it was hard time searching.
beach volleyball was great too! my 1st time playing. the sand is all soft and nice to walk and play on. and rayner likes to dive onto the sand to serve the ball. hee
and we went to drink cocktail cos it was quite cheap there. i drank long island ice tea. and my whole face became reallie red. but i wasnt drunk. has always been thinking, if i were to get drunk what gibberish would i have said? hahah. aniwae, will train to drink before i go london. and clarence, dun think in this present state, i can help u to drink yet. hahah.
all in all, this trip is more of a relaxing kind. and reallie enjoyed the company of my frenz. we grow together in the short span of 2 yr plus. hope that the frenship ll last forever.
next trip: taiwan. hope we can go k? clarence, von and pk. MUZ GO! haha
