I am back from Tignes, France! Skiing was really fun and i enjoyed it very much. For 5days, from Monday to Friday, what we did were eat, ski, eat, ski, eat, play bridge, sleep! hahahhah..

thank God that i did not suffer any injuries. the closest that i got was i did a split once after i left the chair lift cos my skis were positioned wrongly and *pah* my knees were locked. yahting, chieh hwee and the person-in-charge of the chair lift were stunned. and the person has to pull me up. once i was pulled up, i juz burst out laughing... haha cos there was this sign that wrote MOVE FORWARD and the arrows pointed left and right to indicate 2 different slopes on the left and right. then i told yt and ch that i was juz following instructions.. heez.

and i realised from the ski trip. erm not exactly from the ski trip lah, but that i am not close to the singaporeans of my batch at all. told clarence and chee hui that i was quite glad that they came to this trip too. maybe because i am staying on the other side of school.

oh and tingjun's brother and sister came for the ski trip too. haha tingwei is a fellow victorian too! and he is super chatty lah hahaha... talked to him alot about vs and joked about other stuff too. =p

term has officially ended!! well, not that official lah, since tmr i still have 1hr lecture. roarrrr!!!! it was damn funny juz now. when the same lecturer ended this afternoon, he said 'see you tmr'. then the whole lecture theatre juz groaned... hahhaha

anyway, this term juz zoomed past and within this period of time i have so much memories. must say that i am having fun here and i learnt alot too! =p

going to france for a ski trip together with the singsoc till 23rd december. hope that everyone will not have any injuries. =p

yeah! my stupid internet in the house is finally up and running. so ya, i am not hiding or avoiding from anyone for the past week... hahahaha.

1 more week of school! cant wait for school to end le. no mood to study liao... hahaha. can only think of my ski trip this coming friday. =p

oh must mention about last monday too. well, 祸不单行. basically there was this day where the washing machine could not work. then it followed by the cold water tap from the kitchen sink ran out of water. after lunch, there was no more hot water. luckily the bathroom and the toilet still had water. we were thinking like how suay can we get for since everything in the house seemed to go wrong. we realised later that a major water tank leaked the night before and we had been using the water reserve for the whole night the night before and till lunchtime. luckily, the water came back by evening time. hahhaa..

went to olivia's church to listen to this testimony of Ian. He is a New Zealander and he was a gambling aethist who did not believe in God at all. Then, in 1982, he was stung by a jellyfish, the deadliest species and he was going to die. in the whole process of dying, he heard this voice reassuring and telling him things, i.e. if you close your eyes you will die. basically throughout the ordeal, he began to pray to God and was truly repentent.

he was pronounced dead in the hospital. his soul went to this dark place. after a while, he went upwards towards this source of light. he experienced warmth, peace and unadulterated love from the light and there he was in heaven. God asked him whether he wanted to go down back to earth to live again. at first, the only person that made him want to go back was his mum. cos his mum is a devout christian and he was scared that if he were to remain in heaven then his mum may lose faith in God. he wanted to be a living testimony to his mum too. then God showed him faces. unfamiliar faces. Ian was puzzled as he could not recognise these faces. well, God's intention was to use him to reach out to others to believe in Him.

hence he chose to come back to earth. the whole experience took 15minutes and when he opened his eyes, he frightened all the nurses and doctors and was discharged the next day with perfect health.

well, his testimony may sound too amazing to be true but the lesson learnt personally for me is that i am living now is not because of my life on earth but i am reminded that i am living for the sonship, stewardship and worship of God. living for my eternal life. =p
