on the 28th october, saturday, we went to brugges which is in belgium. the event was organised by the halls near my area. woke up at 445am and the bus left at around 530am. basically a big portion of the time was spent in the bus. continud sleeping.

reached the port at 830am after which we went to take the ferry.

upon reaching brugges at 1130. we can tour around the small city until 4pm. the area is very touristy, chocolate-ty, overcrowded. the majority of the people there are tourists. i like the buildings, the scenery and stuff.

remembered i was jelaous of jolin tsai. cos in 1 of her mtv, the setting was in spainish environment. n i could feel like i was in that scenario. hahaha.

enjoyed the day and let the photos do the talking bah.

after that, we took the bus to france. yes, my feet touched france too! but only stopped by at a hypermarket to buy stuff. no prizes for guessing, the locals all bought tons of beer and alochol. haiz. i bought a scarf for 10 euros. not bad. hahha.

reached back hall at 12 plus and it was a day well spent.

friday.

juz came back from school. after surfing the ner for awhile, facing the screen, listening to music, have nothing to do. so i have decided to blog. :)

going to brugges tomorrow. really excited cos this is the 1st time out of london even. brugges is in belgium and we are stopping france i think.

anyways, back to myself, had a test just now. it was for a module. the lecturer is a real funny guy and i think he is the best lecturer of all. then the test he set was so funny that i almost laughed out loud during the test. cos he had nothing else to set after 3 questions and the last one was totally cock. i will laugh even more if i get the answer correct. anyhow huptum one. hahaha.

This is my 200th post!

today marks commeration day. where all graduants gather and celebrate the day together. i want to bring my parents here in 3 years time. i want to bring them to places where my footprints have been etched on. i want to share all the yumilicious food that i have eaten with them. 2009! i will not le anyone down.

anyway, since it is commeration day, the whole college have a free day! hahaha. last night went to keng seng's room and talked to him n astee n haojun until 330am. hahaha. actually it was more of like accompanying astee cos she was locked out of her own room while her roomie was having rendevouz with her boyfriend. ok i am kidding here but ya. haha.

wanted to go for floorball this morning but since we slept late, the probability of us going for it is zero. and we din go of course. haha. woke up at 12 and went to chinatown, yes again. went to living buddha to have lunch. it was enormous, yes again! had beef hor fun and a bowl of soup for just 3.85pounds. cheap! *burp.

going to brugges this saturday. heez. thinking of all the fresh chocolate. yummy.
now is only 7pm feel like doing work but i am tired. shall sleep for an hour bah.

i went to eat baywater's duck on sat for lunch! yes finally! the restaurant is called four seasons restaurant. the duck is said to be the best in the world. there were 14 of us who went. the duck was indeed not bad lah. hahaha.

after finishing the meal, i was quite depressed cos suddenly was trying to visualise my family members eating at this restaurant with me but too bad they are not. just had the urge to share all my happy moments with my family members but it is not within my capabilities. ironic isnt it? i am really having fun here yet sad that i cant share the joy with people back home.

was just reading gy blog about 21st bdaes. me ll be spending that day in london. well, i cant complain much but sometimes even a bland birthday spending that day with my close ones, watching tv together is juz so nice. but anyway, still quite a long way to go.

today went to hillsongs finally. pastor prince from new creation church came to preach. it was really refreshing. quite like his msg. felt overwhelmed too. i may go to the church in the end. see how lah.

went to harrods too. harrods is the super high class area which is like paragon in singapore. we could only look see, look see lor. but 1 handbag caught my eye maybe i will buy for my mum. we went to buy doughnuts that were damn good! hahhah. felt i had a sugar rush after eating that n drinking 1 cup of coke. felt so bloated. tmr shall swim in the morning and go to the gym at night. hahaha.

angry stuff 1st!

2 people have pissed me off this week and today is only wednesday! hahhah. actually both pissed me off yesterday lah.

1st, adeline, elaine, me n kengseng were queuing up for to register and buy tickets for the musical Lion King. then, these 2 Malaysians came. the people in charge asked them to join the queue. this guy shamelessly plobbed himself in front of elaine. wth! adeline asked them to go behind. i agree that ade was a tad rude. but hello, use abit of ur brains lah. what is a queue for? u are scolded by someone else then take it like a man lah.

they went back. then astee came to join us. that same nimkumput shouted at astee to queue behind. he was so ungentlemanly lahh! whats wong with *choping seats for frenz. furthermore, astee's card was with elaine. the card is needed to buy the ticket not the person.

AFTER 5 MIN, THIS IDIOTIC BABOON WENT IN TO THE ROOM "TO CHECK IT OUT" AND HE HAPPILY BOUGHT THE TICKETS WITH HIS FRENZ.

idiot right? anyway, there are 31 tickets lah. the no. of people queuing is not even close to 20. so he so worked up for wad? seriously leh, university students liao, still lidat. i just stared at him the whole time and he avoided us.

then in the afternoon, during one free period, i went to the library to do maths tutorial. i was stuck at this question n i was discussing with david. then david's fren, whom i think is a Chinese, saw my solution for that question and sniggered. WTH! i was damn pissed lah. what right did he have to snigger at me man? i told myself i am going to trash him in work man, even though i know it is hard lah. hahahha.

i got lion king ticket! hahha. 1st musical, quite excited.
i am going to milan in november too! a weekend trip. the 1st out of uk man! heez.

another weekend gone.

friday night, the linsteadians had a formal dinner. after dinner, they jio-ed me to go walk to harrods and enjoy the night scene of london. hahhaha. it was super cool, i din bring out my jacket and i thought the cold air was really refreshing. haha. in the end walked until 1plus in the morning.

saturday, 845am, forced myself to wake up to celebrate laura's birthday with the other medics. hahah. then went back to sleep at around 11. hahha. i hereby say sorry to weiming and elaine. but elaine ate the free dinner liao. haha. cos we were always late in all our meetings. hahah. but i am not the one who is the rate-determining factor for lateness ar! haha.

anyway, we, astee, keng seng n haojun went to meet up with the ucl people!!! at london bridge tube station. so long never see clarence they all liao. haha. we went to borough market. it is something like a pasar malam. the market closes at ard 4. then alot of stuff are selling a discount. there was this shop that sells french tarts. the storeowner was cleaning up stuff leaving behind afew tarts. we walked over wanted to buy the remaning ones. then he told us they are FREE!. heez. so nice. n the tarts were really nice.

oh. we have all been lied since primary school that london bridge is falling down. cos it is not! it is a perfect bridge with alot of vehicles travelling on it. the bridge isnt spectacular/magnaficient in the 1st place.

then we walked past the river thames. saw the london eye and other stuff. n we walked to leicester square! the ucl pple walked alot! hahha. then we went to eat at a chinese restaurant at chinatown! ate laksa!!! hahha. n drank yam milk tea! but the milk tea costs me 3 punds lo! since it is orgasmic and i spent quite little this week, decided to pamper myself. heez. then i met some other ucl pple too :) *waves.

then on sunday, went to kensington temple church. felt overwhelmed that people from all around the world worshipped the same God. but i dun really like the church. i mean there are some parts which i dun agree with. but who am i to judge i am right and the pastor is wrong.

anw, think we are church-hopping now seeing which church suits us.

dinner juz now was great! had baked cheddar chicken and fried prawns. we cooked oursleves. ok lah keng seng did most of the work. was really overwhelmed by the food. suddenly had the urge to fly back to singapore to cook for my family too. i have never cooked for my family before. haizz.

happy stuff 1st.

this week is really cool! of 5 weekday lunches, we cooked/baked 4 lunches ourselves. saved money! yippie. ate char kway teow yesterday too! hahhah.

1 week of lecture just flew by. i am taking 4 modules now. hmmm... i dun like 1. both the lecturer and the lecture sux. shall put in more effort for that module. yup.

OH! 1 more thing. it is confirmed. maths is slack! hahha. if u saw my timetable a few entries ago, see again. See those balck boxes? well, i only need to attend 1 per week!!!! so happy. it equates to 3hr 45min lessons per day. heez. but slack oso dunno wad to do. go out oso spend money.

sad stuff.

need to cook dinner later. hahaha. juz kidding.
still find cooking ok for now. at least it takes up quite abit of time.

was surfing blogs. stumbled upon this blog that is damn sad. shall not say whose. can only say is my fren's fren (whom i dunno) blog. i feel damn low after that.

start to miss the people in singapore.
looking at the msn list now: wondering what are u guys doing now other than preparing to sleep?
thinking about my family. are they happy? emails n occassional talks dont fully reflect one's feelings.

sunday was a good day! :)

went down to misato restaurant again. with keng seng, haojun, astee and elaine. we all were damn full. the portion was humungous and it is worth the money i think. ate the noodles this time. verdict: when u are very hungry, eat the rice. the noodles arent that filling even though the bowl is HUGE.

after that went shopping. elaine in the tube before that said she would not buy stuff liao. cos she spent too much money. in the end, she bought stuff again! but at a good price lah.

elaine left n we went to chinatown. saw a dragon performance! but the dragon so lousy. in londonlah, cannot expect much. hahaha. in the end bought some food from there for us to cook lunch this week. ahhaha.























after that, we went back to hall to cook claypot rice! the dinner was well done! can feel the singaporean flavour in it. plus the apple crumble, longan n fruit cocktail as dessert. wonderful! :)

today is our 1st lecture. after 2 yrs n 9 mths, feel so refreshed to be in lecture room all over again. the 1st lecturer sux. he juz kept mumbling and mumbling. the 2nd one was good. hahhah.
had so much time during lectures to write my notes properly and design them too. heez.

had such a fruitful day today.
after school, went to register with the school sports centre, did my laundry, groceries shopping and cooking with the garden girls. hahhaha.

dinner was well done too. steam eggs, rice, bacon and vegetables. yummy.
kkiez tmr nid to wake up at 6 plus to swim. going to sleep liao.
