yesterday was spent shopping for CNY clothes! hahahah.
the singapore soc organised a trip down to oxford where there is this bicester village. It has a row of shops that are factory outlets. of course, those shops like versace or hugo even factory outlet price i also cannot afford lahh. haha.

in the end, bought a pair of timberland boots for 39 pounds. my 1st pair of boots (not including the black unmentionable) which i think cost 300 plus singapore dollars, so ya. ahahha. anyways, a day well spent in the village. hahahha.

the past few nights i have really funny dreams. talk abt the one last night. i dreamt my whole maths department is flying off to some other country and the setting is in the airport. and the funny thing is at the checkin counter instead of producing passports, i dreamt that everyone has to hand in a maths assignment as well as a sheet of sudoku. ahahha. what does this dream mean ar??? lol. i remembered waking up and laughing at this dream lo. haha

juz came back from church. today's service was about passion, discipline and determination. the pastor showed us this clip abt this father and son. i dunno their names. but it was a true story. the son was handicapped and bound to a wheelchair. one day, he asked his dad to take part a marathon with him. and they completed it. then 4 yrs later, they went to take part the ironman competition. the father cycled, ran and swam with the son following him. and it was shown on a videoclip. i juz broke down and cried when i saw the father swam while pulling the son who was lying down on the lifeboat. seriously, this is the 1st time i broke down in church. yes, nothing is impossible and it juz makes all my worries seem so trivial. i ll never forget the faces of the father and son when they completed the whole thing. God is good!

There was snow yesterday!!! haha... okok, ks said it was overnight frost and not snow. whatever the case is, yes it is that cold now. hahah. but alvin, me cell group senior told us that we are really lucky to see so much snow in london. whoopee! 1st noticed it when i looked out of the window and i saw this red car with snow on top of the vehicle. ahhhaha. den the whole (pathetic) prince's garden is full of snow.. hahha. but it melted quite fast. k fine, i woke up late but ya at least i still saw it. hahaha.

weather in london is really erratic.

teaching at sacred heart primary school really taught me a thing or 2. the kids are so adorable. yes, they are quite rowdy and talkative, especially the girls!! haha. was so pissed off that i felt like asking them to knock it down. ahhaha. but putting that aside, looking at the kids laugh and play really warm my heart especially in the cold weather. aha.

i even told them that there were 2 kids in the group that i want to be my future daughter and son. cos the girl mia is sooo guai, clever and mature, then the boy, jason is sooo funny and cute. he can just fall off his chair while sitting down den laughed at himself embarrassingly. ahhaha. anyway, just realised that jason=july, august, september, october, november!!! hahah.

yes yes, me going to cut my hair. hopeully before CNY. hahah. have been trying to call toni and guy academy for the last 2 days to book an appt. it costs 5 pounds for a haircut cos it is cut by the students and it is sort of their assignment kinda thing. so hopefully can cut my hair eithr on sun or on mon, since i have no school on monday mornings.

juz now, went to do groceries shopping alone. the most happening thing of an overseas student is to do groceries shopping lo. ahhaha. that beside the point, walking in london alone makes me think alot of things. dun ask me why. ahhaha. juz suddenly thought about home, thought about everything under the sky. missing home now. hahah.

when u are busy wif stuff, u tend to be preoccupied wif ur work and so not think about other things rite? that shows how slack maths department is. ahhahaha. really pity the engineering students lo. they have lessons and labs from 9-6 sometimes, wednesdays excluded cos of CCAs.
then maths got no labs, only lectures and problem classes are a waste of time which me and ks dun go. haha.

anyways, week 3 of term 2 now. 8 more weeks to go. den it will be touring, studying, exams, project, finding apartment, going to greece (?) and HOME SWEET HOME!! it will gonna be damn sweet man, muahahha.

Clarence is going to get 1st class after his 3 yrs of uni. muahhahha. congrats clarence! heez.

a bunch of us when to down to cambridge for a day trip. thanks to cheehui, nicholas and kr for being such nice hosts. cambridge is a university town and the surroundings look old and rustic. Think i ll probably die in most of the universities in the countryside cos it is soo boring, IMO. not that i am a super duper happening person but think i ll juz rot in my room and mug the whole day if i were in cambridge.

the day was spent looking at some of the colleges. i like the chapels. they all look damn nice. even thought of my wedding day man. hahaha.

then we went punting along river cam. punting is different from rowing a boat in that the punt is a long wooden stick and u stick it to the ground and push the boat forward or backward. yup. lousy me tried and the boat refused to listen to me. hahah and i fell into the boat twice while punting of the collisions impact with the walls of the river sides. -_-" hahaha but it was a nice experience! =)

but clarence had a better experience! he fell into the river while punting. i din see him do that cos my boat was qute far behind. too bad no one took a photo of him. the river was damn cold and i think he was stunned for a while... lukily everything turned out well. there is this saying that whoever falls into the river will get a first class at the end of his uni career. ahhaha. so kudos to clarence! =))

a day well spent at cambridge!

i have no much complaints about my roommate. i mean he is a nice guy and he is very considerate which is good. but it is his frenz whom i cant stand. the thing about the locals are that they like to study till at night and then they go and rest or go out to drink. but for typical singaporeans, we like to dilly dally and have fun den study quite late at night, isnt it? as least for me it is lidat lahh.

SO, some of the people in my hall have this impression that i mug ALOT! reason is because i am always in front of the computer. i mean u can spend so much time with ur lappie. youtube is my favourite site man. and no i dun surf porn. hahaha. basically, ya whenever they come and visit my roomie, my butts will be rooted to my chair in front of my com.

then one night, this guy who came in and after when he went out, he told me, study hard man and do ur parents proud and he walked off. hahhaha... the next time he says that to me, i am going to tell him dun study and disappoint ur parents! thats the way to go!! hahahha...

few nights ago, this girl who likes my roomie asked my roomie to watch tv. den she asked me too. i told her that i need to do work and her reply was 'you are always doing work!'..-_-" haizz. luckily my roomie enlightened her and told her that i got play play dota too! hahahha.

hahah. k enough rambling. waiting for dinner now. gg to do my coursework later den heading off to the gym. this week is going to be a damn cold week. arrggghh!

so fed up, decided to blog. hahah.

2nd week of school term is over now! time really flies lor. but hope it can fly faster. me want to go home! hahah. the food list that i HAVE TO EAT in singapore is accumulating with stingray being the latest addition. cos juz now laura cooked smabal fish and it reminds all of us stingray. haha.

yesterday went to watch excess baggage the musical. it is a show put up by fellow singaporean students in aid of the chidren cancer foundation. quite impressed with the performance. they had really put in a lot of effort for it so kudos to them.

tmr gg to cambridge and sightsee. thats all for the week!
okok gg back to that sickening question. my answer is positive but the given ans is negative and i cant figure out! hahahha.

it was like oh my goodness lo!!!

it is a london survival kit indeed. really felt so happy opening the box. lets see what these 2 great frenz did for me.

• compile latest songs for me.
• burn so many serials and shows for me to watch.
• bak kwa!! haha i like the packaging.
• hokkien mee, pineapple rice paste and bakkut teh.
• and my fav of all- the photo frame! i was grinning from ear to ear when i saw it! hahah. it is damn farnie and i like it.

i like all the stuff that u guys prepared for me. hahahah. ya with the serials i will most likely to be stuck in my room.. haha. kidding lah. reallie thank you sooo much. haha :)

u all made my day man, received the parcel in the morning and i have been happy for the whole day. muahhaha.

oh, and my sis.. hahha. adopt her as my sis le. heez.. my sis got nothing better to do. got work den still so lazy. =P den do a collage for me. heez. but it is damn nice too! it is my com wallpaper le. hahaha.

1 week of school has past! haha. 10 more weeks to go before the next holidays. cant wait for this term to end. whee. hahah

anyways, i like 3 out of 4 of my lecturers. the 4th one is i haven seen him yet. hahaha. the mechanics lecturer is good lo, thanks God for that. ahhah.

this week passed really smoothly. yesterday went to bond street to shop again! hahaha din buy anything much lahh after which we went to zhixian's place to have dinner. thank you zhixian.

and today did nothing, more of like wasted one day other than me gg to church. hahahah..

i have finished watching devil beside you. yes, i know it is a damn old show but anw i juz picked it up not long ago and the show is reallie nice. heez.

hahhaha...

me lost 1kg since hols started. so my weight is now standing at 70.7kg. hahah. i think the in thing now is to lose weight as i noe 2 people who are my close frenz who keep on saying that they are fat and they need to lose weight. =p

but the bad thing is i can sooo anticipate my grandpa saying that i look thinner. (if there is any difference in my looks) and he will deduce that i dunno how to take care of myself cos i starve myself and lazy to cook for my meals. hahaha. think grandparents are mostly like that isnt it? hahaha....

okok... need to do my laundry le. underwear is my determining factor of doing laundry and i HAVE to do my laundry now. muahhaha....

suddenly feel like holidays have juz started for me... heez.

Ha! 2nd day of school and me is soo happy. hahha.
cos stupid tests have ended!!! muahha... den yesterday suddenly din have the mood to study. haha... talked to yvonne for close to an hour den invited hj, astee and keng seng over to bake cake for ade... hahhahhaha... anyways, tests over lo! have confidence that 2 of 4 will do damn well the other 2 dunno lahh.. haiz ait for results lo. heez.

and guess the 1st thing that me and ks did after our tests? we and astee went to shop!!! muahha.. and i bought a sweater from zara. cos during the post xmas sale i saw it and it was 25 pounds. i told myself if it is below 20 i will confirm buy it. den today it cost 19pounds!! so of cos i bought lo. hahahhal.... retail therapy is good! :)

den went to watch phantom of the opera. it is a damn nice show. the props are superb and the lead singers are really superb until they put lion king to shame lo.... hahah. dun mind watching again lo. :D yah, it is that nice.

after which went over to ade's place to celebrate her bdae. hahah. happie bdae ade! welcome to the 20s cluB! muahahha. wahh today damn happening.. but after my tests, me and keng seng were already so drained out. this is worse than after my A levels lo. remembered my class went straight for chalet! hahah.

juz realised that for maths department rite, during sch term it is so slack until it is like holidays but during holidays, we majiam no holidays cos we have to study for exams. the easter holidays oso lo. sighz...

went for the countdown yesterday near the big ben to look at the fireworks. my goodness, 200000 pple went to watch. we were squeezed, squashed and pushed on our way back. luckily, the fireworks were really pretty. ahhaha. this kinda thing experience once in a lifetime can liaoz... hahaha.

today, nothing much happened other than going out for dinner with the moe pple. nice dinner and clarence is sooo nice to come all the way down to have dinner with me.

and dun worrie peeps, esp astee, dun have to apologise de. hahaha. i am contended wif juz a dinner and a memorable bdae le. u guys are great!
