went to church todae aft missin it fer 2 wks. n i din pon la. 1st wk cuz got duty den last wk cuz went to visit mi granma's grave. hahaha. had a crappy party cuz we were juz eatin n nt mingling ard wif pple we dun noe. hahhaa. oh ya, tks stepfanie fer ur switzerland choc! it is realli nice. :)
aniwae, tdy sermon is realli interestin n i learnt sth new! well i m supposed to learn sth new aft every sermon but... hahaha. okie la. aniwae, do u noe y is there a boxin dae? n it is on 26th dec? i used to tink dat e dae is fer some big boxin tournament or sth. hahaa. but act it is becuz long long time ago, in england i tink, e servants ve to stay back on xmas to help to serve their employers cos dat dae their hse ll b full of pple. so e dae aft which is e 26th, e servants r allowed to back home to celebrate wif their families n their employers r supposed to give loads of boxes or parcels to em. in churches, it is oso 26th where they opened e boxes/parcels. ( nt veri sure but sth lidat la, hahha) n hence, boxin dae! hahah. cool rite? sorrie la i noe i veri sua gu. hahhaa
but tdy real msg was abt xmas. do u oso noe y it is xmas whr there is e spirit of sharin? y is it dat e whole world r buyin gifts fer emselves n their frens? it is bcuz God gave us a wonderful gift 2004 yrs ago. For He so loved e world dat He gave His One n only Son dat is e wonderful gift-- Jesus Christ! The wages of sin is death n Jesus is dere to cleanse us n made us holy b4 God. Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! yupyup n i m juz so grateful too. but too bad alot of pple ve nt appreciated this free gift from God yet. sighz. can onli hope dat i m a gd testimony in e eyes of e Lord. hahhaah. ya so dats how business uses dis idea of gifts n sharin n we get a commercialised xmas! sighz! but it is nt all bad la. @ least non-christians can apprecaite e spirit of xmas too.
