I remember when i was havin mi history lessons abt world war II mi teacher always asked us to ask our grandparents abt their 1st hand experience fr it. Mi reply wld always b borin, oh pls i ve better things to do! hahahha. I seldom tok to grandad n mi conversations ll always be 1-liners like his or byes. if not, he ll ask mi things abt mi life like whethr i ve gotten mi military license N more than often e qn require juz a yes or a no. hahha. i felt realli ashamed of it la but i still did nothin to change it.
But aft mi grandmum died a few yrs ago, i noticed a distinct change in him. he believed in God n he was baptised. Yeah! still, i didnt tok much to him too. hahahha but sumtimes it is nt mi fault k? we seldom met up oso. But aniwae, he came to mi hse todae. We went out fer lunch together n den saw mi cousin daniel. so, we went to his hse n 3 of us started tokin. I could nt believe it la, but still i was happi cos dis is e 1st time such things happen. n mi grandad is a bit anti-government n hearin him complain abt sum nitty-gritty stuff abt e government juz sounds funny to mi. our topics covered fr casino to chinese to PAP to world war II to life in australia ( dan juz got back fr brisbane ). Very gp rite? hahah but i m still veri happi n feel veri blessed to ve him as mi grandad!
