As I mentioned yesterday, today is the start of SYF central judging for choir. can say that it is an eye-opener for me. dunno how to appreciate choir, no musical talents la. can only say that i take my hat off to VS choir. in my opinion, they are the best today. they are the last school to perform and they did not let the whole hall down. i was totally blown away! congrats to them for getting the gold with honours award together with RI and Fairfield.
The reason why I wrote the sentence in bold, was because there was this choir from this reputable boys' school which is very good. however, they are a very bad audience. they made a lot of noise, walked around and disrupted a choir performance. their teacher in charge was missing right after their performance. Yucks! i was totally disgusted. even my friends can notice that.
Read my previous entries. "Selfless and kind, you have great faith in people.Sometimes this faith can lead to disappoinment in the long run." i read this sentence again and again! it juz struck me because it really happens in my life. not the selfless and kind part, *think that i stilll have a long way to go to achieve this* but the faith in people as well as disappointment. Friends i am not hinting at anyone or anything in particular but sometimes i am expecting people to do that extra bit for me or at least be accomodating for me in a few instances. but disappoinment sets in. i guess i think too much and expect a lot. * but dun worry i am that kind of person who expects a lot of himself much more than of others. * but i dun wan to be disappointed or hurt. maybe i need time to go to that stage.
sigh. again, i am not referring to anyone in particular. dun be offended!
