heyhey...

watched e results segment of the show last night. i was feeling ambivalent after it. numb maybe. cos last night, the winners Kelly n Kelvin had e fewer marks than their competitors. the underdogs won. i mean i wasnt surprised that Kelly would have gotten this. mm... she is pretty and vocally not bad even though Xin Hwey is a tad better. she is e more consistent 1 throughout the whole competition n when she was ousted i think it was a blessing in disguise cos more people got to know her and support her.

however, i cant agree with the situation with Kelvin. Jun yang was the more consistent singer throughout the whole competition while Kelvin's marks were fluctuating very badly. i feel quite sad fer Jun Yang actually. because i think the judges are partly responsible fer it. they were clearly impressed with Jun Yang n while all my friends in my camp said that Kelvin's rendition of "heaven knows" is superb n better than Jun Yang's english song. but the judges criticised Kelvin until the song was lousy. all of us were touched by the song la. even though i agree that Jun Yang did a better job that night but there was no need for the judges to be so obvious and to an extent biased.

Votes are wierd and not for us to understand. when there is this hot favourite, everybody will ve this mentality that since he is gg to get in, why vote? so when every1 does not vote, poo the hot favourite is gone. N WHEN THE FAV IS GONE, THE VOTERS OR RATHER THE NON-VOTERS WILL COMPLAIN SAY THAT IT IS UNFAIR. hullo? too bad! i m writing this cos i was reading the papers and they were complaining that the winners should be th eones gg home. hahhaha. u r the ones who did not vote or vote lesser. i m quite irritated by this.

speaking of votes, people also have this tendency to sabotage people. sighz. this is unhealthy u noe. i remember in jc, i was saboed la. i was voted by my whole class (22 votes) to be a prom king nominee. hahahha joke rite? sabo lor! me prom king???? haahaha luckily i wasnt saboed further or rather other classes did not even want me to be prom king.l hahahhahaha. phew!

so. Votes are irritating. reallie unpredictable. n e worse is when we have to bear e consequnces after that.
