orientation week.

yesterday went for maths talk. realised that math department is so kiasu too. so on the ball, wanting their students to be on par with students. they have to keep warning us that alot of discipline is needed for maths. hahaha.

and there is a diagnostic test on thursday. saw the sample test on the website. it looks so simple din even bother to do it. hahaha. did some other questions to stir my maths juices in my brain. hahaha. but dun care lah, fail, fail lor. not counted anyway. if not joel, my scholarship officer may have to hunt for me and counsel me liao. hahha. but dun worry lah, i promise i will work hard for the grades. hahhahaha.

anyway, 40 % of the students are international. and alot of asian students. felt like i was in NUS sci faculty. my personal tutor is a french-canadian. a cool guy who is very approachable.

today, there was a freshers fair. it is juz a day where CCAs or what we singaporeans call it. me signed up for frisbee, volunteering club, christian union and singapore society. hahaha. volunteering club is basically going to schools to talk and play with the students and encourage them to learn science. being teachers-to-be, i think most of the moe scholars signed up for that. hahaha.

went to bank today and got my card. got my oyster card too. the oyster card is juz like ez link card of london.

tomorrow is a free day. me shall go down to chinatown to have a look!
