Wednesday, February 14, 2007:hair cut
today went for the haircut finally!
went to toni and guy academy. it is a training school for the hairdressers-to-be to learn to cut and style hair. kengseng saw it online and it cost only 5 pounds! this is due to the fact that the students are cutting and the teachers are just behind to guide them along and prevent any major mishaps from happening.

was just thinking if got mishap the most juz shave lo. ahhaha

me and kengseng went down registered our names den queued up at the reception area. then we were practically like models lahh. one teacher will come and ask everyone how we want our hair to be done. den one by one, they will get selected to get their hair done. i was quite perturbed cos me and kengseng were amongst the last to be called. hahah.

BUT lo and behold, this teacher grabbed 2 of us and 2 other people and brought us to the studio room to cut our hair. the 4 students are all advanced de, think they going to graduate soon. 1st, my student asked me how i like my hair done. i wanted to cut the top part of my head and my fringe but she said "i like ur fringe" den ok lo let her keep. hahahha cos my hair was very thick so i asked her to cut my sides and my back more. then after awhile, the 4 students were waiting. waiting for teacher to say go. hahaha. they shampooed our hair 1st but the water supply got cut off so we went down to use other taps. went into the beginner class to cut. omg! soooo many students were cutting and the whole room looked so chaotic.

den she started to cut my hair. she was cutting quite slowly. well it took me more than 2 hrs for my hair to be cut. and she has to stop in stages for the teacher to give the go ahead and the approval. luckily for my student, the teacher kept saying "cool, well done" aahha.

den boss came and wanted to use the studio, so off we went to another advanced classroom to cut our hair. still very chaotic but ok lahh, notice the different students and the wide variety of students. it is indeed a refreshing experience.

and i thank God for that plus the advanced student! hahaha... think my hair for an amatuer standard plus 5 pounds not bad le. hhahaa.

moral of story: when they ask u how u want ur hair to be done, make it sound complicated. dun juz say trim or cut 5cm cos u ll be ushered to the beginners, IMO! =)
