in exactly 14 days time, this hour i ll be in the plane. bet i ll be too excited to go home. bet i ll tear when i see my family. hahaha. frankly speaking, i am tired. yes, i have enjoyed my stay here for 9 months. maybe i have enjoyed too much, i dunno. i am really tired. hahaha.. going home soon.. =)
yesterday, or rather on saturday, me and ks went to manchester to see the THEATRE OF DREAMS. thats the old trafford stadium actually. haha.. went for the stadium tour and even went into the players' changing room. anyways, the stadium is very grand and very RED. after looking at the stadium, really envious of ben and gang who have gone to watch a live match there. hopefully we can get to see it the coming academic year. =)
oh, suddenly rem that we din know the stadium's exact location so i asked this passerby where the stadium was. he asked me back, "man u football stadium?" my 1st thought was," no, geylang united football stadium" hahahhahhaa.... okok manchester got more than 1 stadium i know. haha.
dunno y but i felt bad today. shant say much anyway. juz that ya there were things i could have done but i din do. there are some things that i really cherish too much that i dunno how to react in some situations. hahaha.... dun dwell into this paragraph. it is nothing serious anyways, but i still dun feel good. haha. juz ignore this cryptic paragraph. =p
anyways, i have finished watching WHICH STAR ARE YOU FROM? for a start, the reason as to why i watched this show, the show has my fav korean star. i dunno her exact name, but she acted in MY LOVELY SAMSOON too as the supporting actress. she is hot! ahha.
back to the show. i think the storyline was really good. ok fine, in the middle, it was a typical korean drama. it was a tad draggy and the problem could have been solved relatively easier than what actually happened in the show. but at least, it produced more episodes for me to see my sweetheart rite? hahaha... the show is about how this guy liked this girl. but their relationship was not approved by her mum. (to mummy, pls trust my taste when i have a girlfriend k? hahhahahahahha actually, i think my mum wunt care as long as she is not havoc or wild, i think! muahhaha..) they struggled and they met in a car accident. the girl died. the guy felt sorry and angry for killing her in the accident. cos he was the one driving. then years later, he was in this village and he saw this girl who looked alot like the dead girl. he got to know her better, and he started to like her. he liked her for who she was and not because she looked like the deceased girl. but fate has it that this girl was actually the deceased younger sister. during a fire accident many years ago, this girl was separated and lived in the village. and hence, when the village girl went back to the family, their relationship was not approved. the show ended when the mum FINALLY allowed them to be together.
well, that is the paradox isnt it? u like this girl for who she is but the whole world will like to think that u like this girl only because u liked her sister before and u want to get the feeling back. in the show, the whole world was against them. everyone in the show except for 1 good friend asked them to give up their love. haizzz. hahaha... okok anyways, nice show.
okok. talk about something livelier. ahha. was facebooking juz now and i saw this youtube link. and it actually linked me to this channel 5 sitcom PARENTAL GUIDANCE. it is quite a nice show i muz admit and the kids in the show are soo cute. but wad i want to say here is about episode 6. it talks about schools and education in singapore. about how parents have to do volunteer service or anything juz to get their precious kids into the top schools. it also mentioned that MOST ELITE SCHOOLS IN SINGAPORE ARE SINGLE SEX SCHOOLS. hahha. well, thats true isnt it? when i was in primary 5 and 6, i remembered seeing the ST guide to the top schools where they ranked the schools from 1 to 50. ahaha.. and out of the top ten, there were more single sex schools den co-ed ones. haha.. personally, from a single sex secondary school, i think i will like to send my kids to a co-ed primary school and then a single sex secondary school. ahhaha. well, other than the fact that horniness is part of growing up and getting attached seem to be the welcomed trend but being in single sex school was really a memorable experience. ahha.
lalla...think i talk too much. back to that episode. listen their conversations carefully, they make fun of the system in singapore. like for example, there is ELITE GIRLS SCHOOL. and apparently the school has won all different kinds of awards, so much so that rumours has it that they wanna take part in competitions that they have never taken part before i.e singapore knitting olympics!!! hahaha.. and if u were to watch the show, where the female lead presented this scarf that her niece knitted in the hope of using that talent to admit her into the school. NOTE THE COLOUR OF THE SCARF!! and you will know which ELITE GIRLS SCHOOL the show is referring to..hahaha damn farnie. and i am watching on youtube now. heez. have fun watching this. =)
