last sat went to the ne show. it was just another rehearsal for the ndp show but i am not complaining. cos this is the 1st year the ndp will be held at marina. erm... feel that it was a pity not as many people are able to attend the ndp to celebrate together. however, the programme was reallie good.

1st, this is to inform those who are gg for the preview or the real ndp show. if u are going wif ur frenz, get different colours for the goodie bags. cos the bag is designed in such a way where it is put together by stripes and the stripes are connected by zips. so u can actually make ur bag bigger/ more colourful.. yup. my bag has orange, green and blue stripes. hahaa...

another thing i know this is not within anyone's control but try to sit on the right side of the audience seats. cos this yr since the stage is on the sea, there are performances/ shows on the water so check out for that... talking about seats. me and ks pissed one of the captains off. cos we had already got our seats and sat down. then we saw astee and zy, so we decided to join them to sit. but the captain came to us and told us in a not very frenly tone that we are making life difficult for him. oh come on lo, the empty seats can be filled by the next 2 people who are coming up wad. i mean yes, their life will be easier but isnt it better if u can go the extra mile to make others happy and it is within ur control? it is not as if like we demand to choose particular seats and block others from having seats lo... haha...

the show itself was nice wif alot of digital effects and the perfomance display put up by the students and soka association was colourful and vibrant. missed those days when i get to go down to deyi sec to help them with their performance when i was in army... haha.

i din say who died in the book or wad the ending is like. but the next few paragraphs are more of my opinions peppered wif some stuff from the book. if u duwan to know anything before u read the book, dun read on.

i have also finished reading harry potter... hmm, let me try to say some stuff without spilling out any spoilers. i am reallie impressed by J. K. Rowling as i think it is reallie difficult to write somehting which is not only fictional but also something is not even existent in our lives. yet the story she weaved out, drew parallels with our present lives.

things that struck me in book 7 was that Voldermort was another Hitler, trying to kill and destroy Muggles/Muggled-born witches/Mudblood etc and the propaganda that was to follow like taking charge of all radio stations.. the chaos and fighting presented reminded me of WWII not that i experienced it before. also, Hermoine who was the smartest of the 3 was said to be limited/narrow-thinking... this immediately reminds me of the Singaporean context where people like to say that people who study alot dun dare to take risks blah blah and they like to follow the book as compared to those who are not that academically inclined like to think out of the box... hahha. maybe i am thinking too much.. heez.

book 7 also presented lots of fighting scenes right from the 2nd chapter and i would like to think that the last movie of the Harry Potter series will be set to be a smashing hit... and most of the fighting scene, someone has to die... i feel that the deaths made the fighting scenes more realistic but there are already some connections between those characters and the readers in the other books so i cant help but to feel sorry and thought that wouldnt it have been better if J.K.Rowling doesnt kill anyone.. haizz.

also, i realised that the progress of the story and the explanations of some loose threads in the previous books were all in the forms of conversations and letters and blah blah... well, i know that it is quite hard for the writer to write all these in narrative forms but that was juz a thought.

like there was this whole chapter of Dumbledore talking to Harry Potter.. (to those who havent read it yet, dun kill me for this... i am not saying that Dumbledore is not dead, neither am i saying that he has already died and revived. juz read the book and u will find out =p)

anyways, it is a wonderful book and everyone should read it. hope the movie doesnt disappoint us.

about personal stuff. was quite angry when my mum told me that her colleague brushed against the law and was sacked from her work. angry cos she almost caused my mum into trouble too. luckily got cctv to explain everything lo. haizzz...
